Post One is a High Adventure Boy Scout Venture Crew (formerly known as Explorers).  Although most of our members are located in Long Island, NY, our adventures take us all over the world.  Hiking, Biking, Backpacking, Rock Climbing, Ice Climbing, and Kayaking are just a few of the adventures we enjoy.   We are co-ed and open to those age 14 and up; those 21 and older are our "advisors".  So, don't be afraid to join us if you're not a teen; as long as you're a kid at heart!

Post One features:

• Day Hikes
• Monthly Trek - weekends (even winter camping!) 
• Monthly Rock Climb (or Ice Climb)
• Two weeklong "Expeditions" per year (April, August)
• Kayak / Canoe Trips
• Pool Sessions (Practice your Eskimoe Roll)
• CPR / First Aid / Water Safety Instruction
